Appliance City Showcase New De Dietrich Induction Hob
Nottingham, England (PRWEB) June 13, 2008 -- The Grand Designs Show took place at ExCel London from 3rd May to the 11th May. One of the busiest stands belonged to cutting edge kitchen appliance brand, De Dietrich. How do Induction Wok Hobs work?
One of the most common questions answered by Appliance City and De Dietrich at the event was, "How does it work?". To answer this question briefly, the induction hob features a powerful high frequency electromagnet. When a pan, wok or other magnetic material is placed into the magnetic field generated by the element the field transfers, or 'induces' energy into it. This transferred energy causes the wok or pan to become hot. By altering the strength of the magnetic field the heat level can be controlled.
